New Development Corp has added a new site to the West side of Grand Rapids at Trinity Reformed Church, 1224 Davis NW.

It takes many volunteers to provide free income tax preparation for low and moderate-income households through the VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) program. VITA is a national volunteer-based program that utilizes IRS-certified volunteers to provide this service.

The amazing volunteers at St. Alphonsus Parish will continue to provide this valuable service to neighbors as we develop the new site in conjunction with the Davenport University Consortium.

If you would like to become a VITA tax preparer or intake specialist, contact sandy@newdevelopmentcorp.org.  Training is provided and we are always eager to expand the team. Trainings will be conducted both at the Davenport Lettinga Campus and virtually.

Volunteers can sign up for as many or as few dated as desired. We provide refreshments, training and encouragement.
